General ConferencesGetty Foundation : Grants for emerging and mid-career ICOM Members to attend ICOM Prague 2022

ICOM invites you to participate in the Getty 2022 international programme for emerging and mid-career professionals.

As part of its inclusive approach confirmed by its Strategic Plan, the International Council of Museums (ICOM) is committed to support approximately 25 young members from preferably Category 3 and 4 Countries to attend the 26th ICOM General Conference that will be held in 20-28 August 2022 in Prague, Czechia. The grantees will have the opportunity to make new contacts and develop their capacities and knowledge which they will be able later to share with colleagues in their home countries. ICOM is very grateful that these grants are made possible with support from the Getty Foundation.

ICOM PRAGUE 2022

Now at its 26th edition, the triennial General Conference is one of the most significant global events dedicated to museums and its professionals. Since 1948, an ever-growing number of participants from all continents have been gathering to discuss and share ideas related to the topical issues facing museums. For the first time in ICOM’s history, ICOM Prague 2022 will explore a new hybrid conference format, providing participants from all over the world full remote access to the scientific programme of ICOM Prague 2022.
